It is also important to know a thing or two about your reproductive system if you’re trying to conceive. The best time to get pregnant is during ovulation. Therefore, you will need to understand your cycle, which differs from woman to woman. You should strongly consider using an ovulation prediction kit to make this a little bit easier.
You and your partner will need to have sex occasionally for you to get pregnant. You may believe that you and your husband should have sex as much as you possibly can since it will increase the chances that you will get pregnant. You should know that this isn’t always the best thing to do though.
Don’t forget about your husband’s sperm count. Men who have sex too often will have a decreased sperm count which will decrease the chances of getting pregnant. It’s best to have sex every other day during ovulation to increase your chances.
You should also note that there are things that men can do in their daily lives that can affect the sperm count too. One of the most common examples is wearing clothes or underwear that fit too tightly. Using a laptop on his lap will also increase temperatures in the genital area which won’t be good for sperm count either.
Female habits should also be taken into account. You should stop smoking or drinking immediately. If you smoke or drink, then it will decrease your chances of getting pregnant. Not to mention that these habits can harm your child before you realize that you’re pregnant.
